Law No. 08.018 of June 06, 2008 on Biofuels in the Central African Republic covers the research and cultivation of energy plants, the processing, production, marketing and control of biofuels. To this end, it deals, among other things, with cultivation and production standards and the institutional framework, the marketing of products, security and control and monitoring bodies, transfer, transmission and safety, rights and obligations attached to titles, tax, customs and financial provisions as well as offenses and penalties.
