By ratifying the Convention on Biological Diversity on June 15, 1995, the Central African Republic undertook to develop a national strategy followed by an action plan for the conservation and sustainable use of its biodiversity and the fair and equitable sharing the benefits generated by their exploitation, in accordance with Article 6 of the said agreement.
