Through the Support Project for the realization of forest management plans, the Central African State aims to acquire its own capacity to draft management plans for forest permits allocated to economic operators industrial operators throughout of the dense production forest zone in the south-west of the Central African Republic. With the present proposal for national standards, the Ministry in charge of forests will then have operational tools to implement its forest policy and thus ensure the sustainable economic development of its forest-wood sector.
