Like other developing countries signatories to the Protocol,CAR benefited within the framework of the " PROJECT GF/2716-01-4319 "DEVELOPMENT OF THE NATIONAL BIOSECURITY FRAMEWORK OFTHE CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC » UNEP/GEF funding for the implementation of its national biosafety framework, which constitutes an important step in the implementation of the conditions for the application of modern biotechnology.
