Fauna in the Central African Republic is an integral part of the national heritage. It is everyone's duty to safeguard it. The protection of animal species and their biotopes, the maintenance of the biological balances in which they participate are of general interest. In this regard, Ordinance No. 84.045 of July 27, 1984 on the protection of wildlife and regulating the exercise of hunting in the Central African Republic defines, among other things, the legal framework relating to the protection of wildlife, hunting , the export and import of live animals as well as the repression of infringements.
