Five years separate us from the 2015 horizon set by the international community for the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) adopted in 2000. For ten years (2000 -2010), the CAR, with the assistance from its development partners has made sustained efforts to take the steps and carry out the programs necessary to achieve these objectives, in a difficult national context exposed to numerous shocks.
