Natural Resources Development Program (PARN) financed by the World Bank (WB) was implemented between 1991 and 1997. This program made it possible to carry out aerial photography and digital mapping of the South-West zone , to carry out the reconnaissance inventory and the land allocation plan for the said area, as well as to carry out the master plan for the development of the peri-urban area of Bangui and to provide support for the protection of wildlife in the "tri-national" protected area of Dzanga-Sangha.
