The Lake Chad Sustainable Development Program (PRODEBALT) of the Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC) is a response to one of the serious problems facing the existence of Lake Chad and the sustainability of the basin's natural resources. It is designed to reverse the degradation trends observed in the basin during the transboundary diagnostic analysis. PRODEBALT is part of the implementation of the Strategic Action Program (PAS), the 2025 vision for the sustainable development of Lake Chad.
